Oatstraw & Witch Hazel Douche is a cleansing blend of marshmallow root, green oatstraw, and witch hazel root. While too frequent or improper douching can upset the vaginal flora, our douche is a safe and healthy way to cleanse and refresh periodically or once a month after the monthly cycle. This blend is astringent, balancing, and healing, as well as cleansing.
Make an infusion using 1 heaping teaspoon added to 8 oz. of distilled boiled water. Let steep for 12 minutes. Strain into a measuring cup using double natural coffee filters. Use as is or for further benefits, to this liquid, add 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar, 1/4 tsp sea salt, and 1 drop of 100% pure organic tea tree essential oil (optional). Stir well. Allow to cool and then pour into douche bulb and douche as usual.
